Columbus Crew SC and Portland Timbers met with the media Friday afternoon to go through the pre-MLS Cup press ringer. And Kei Kamara wore these pants. Donald Krump (@manofletterspdx) tweeted out this photo from the presser. We don't know what's going on below his waist, but safe to say it's an attention grabber. Is Kei having gastrointestinal issues due to big-game nerves and needed a fashionable diaper? Was it colder in Columbus than he anticipated and he needed to sew some legs onto his shorts? The bigger question, though, is: Why don't I have a pair of those in my dresser yet and where can I get one?
Think Columbus is excited about hosting New York Red Bulls Sunday at MAPFRE Stadium in the MLS Eastern Conference Championship? Some fans shared their Crew SC love with fans of the American variety of football, invading ESPN's College Gameday show to display the hard work of the #tifosweat gang. A pair of tifos made the airwaves — a "Pipa for Heisman" in honor of Fedrico Higuain, and another depicting the pairing of Black & Gold star striker Kei Kamara and Ohio State star running back Ezekiel Elliott. The Buckeyes often dominate the Columbus sports world, but on Saturday morning Crew SC carved out a second of the spotlight. (Photo credit: Jeff Cowles - @jeffcowles)
With the news that the team has reached out to Frankie, the always excellent Massive City FFC provides just the right image. This would be nice on a t-shirt or even better on a massive print over the fireplace. Let It Be Massive" indeed!
