Supporter’s XI: New England Revolution

Who would you line up for the Crew as the team opens up Lower.com Field?

A day years in the making is almost here. The Columbus Crew will finally open the brand new Lower.com Field on Saturday against the New England Revolution.

With the opening of the new downtown stadium, the dreams of Crew supporters are coming true. Unfortunately, the depth head coach Caleb Porter will have available to him in this game is starting to become more of a bad dream.

Coming off a second offensive stalemate at Austin FC, the Black and Gold look to score their first goal since they closed historic Crew Stadium in a 2-1 victory. They will have to do so, however, with a beleaguered front line due to injuries.

Winger Pedro Santos, after putting in a yeoman’s job filling in at left back in recent matches, is questionable for the match against New England, as is fellow winger Luis Diaz. Wingers Kevin Molino and Derrick Etienne Jr. have already left the team for their various national team duties in preparation for the Gold Cup and forward Gyasi Zardes and center back Josh Williams are also listed as questionable.

In what will be a historical night at the new Lower.com Field, who do you, the supporters, think will line up for Columbus against the Revolution?
