On Monday Columbus Crew SC announced the team’s week of replay matches for Wednesday and Sunday. The two matches can be seen on the team’s official website ( and SportsTime Ohio.

These classic replays are done to help fans get their Black & Gold fix until Major League Soccer returns following the coronavirus outbreak. While the German Bundesliga is back in action, MLS is reportedly working on a tournament structure that will be held in Orlando, Florida, once play can be resumed. In the meantime, we get to watch these old favorites from the comfort of our home.

On Wednesday, May 27, the team’s website will stream Columbus’ 3-2 come-from-behind victory against the Philadelphia Union that original aired on Oct. 11, 2014. The stream is set to premiere at 12 p.m. ET.

The Union, who were vying for a playoff spot, jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second half, which looked to be enough to secure all three points in the game. But, as we all know, 2-0 is the most dangerous lead in soccer. Ethan Finlay pulled Columbus to within one, scoring on a Hector Jimenez cross in the 78th minute. Just one minute later, Justin Meram scored the equalizer, firing a shot by Union goalkeeper Zac MacMath. Forward Jairo Arrieta put the dagger in Philadelphia’s playoff hopes when he scored the game-winner in the 82nd minute.

On Sunday, May 31, SportsTime Ohio is set to re-air the Crew’s 4-3 penalty shootout win against the San Jose Earthquakes from June 30, 1999, with the broadcast set to begin at 7 p.m. ET.

It’s important to note that matches streamed on will be geo-fenced to Crew SC’s territory per Major League Soccer guidelines.

MLS’s platform MLS Unites helps bring the soccer community together during the coronavirus pandemic. Next week’s theme is MLS Unites for Supporters. The Crew’s content featured in last week’s theme MLS Unites to Celebrate Creativity includeed defender Aboubacar Keita participating in “MLS Idle: Soccer’s Hidden Talents.”

Additional Crew programming includes a Kid’s Corner which features videos and activities for children, home workouts led by assistant strength and conditioning coach Kelly Roderick, television analyst Jordan Angeli providing analysis on The Breakdown and weekly Stay At Home recipes from Jay Short, the Crew’ss registered team dietician. In addition, Black & Gold supporters can listen to the club’s weekly radio show “Inside The Crew,” on 97.1 The Fan every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
