Live sports are on hold for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus outbreak. Because of this, teams and leagues across the country have been airing old games, just to give fans something to watch as they follow local stay-at-home orders and attempt to help defeat this virus.

Last week, Columbus Crew SC got in on the action. The Black & Gold streamed the 2008 MLS Cup Final match against the New York Red Bulls, the first and only MLS Cup in Columbus’ 25-year history. On Saturday, the team re-aired last year’s rain-soaked match against defending MLS Cup champions, Atlanta United,

On Monday, the Crew its second selection of matches to help fans get their Black & Gold soccer fix in. This week, fans will get to watch three rebroadcasted matches on three different days.

Starting Tuesday, April 7, the Crew will re-air their home match against the 3-1 victory against the LA Galaxy from May 8, 2019. The broadcast will start at 7:00 p.m. ET on SportsTime Ohio.

On Wednesday, the team’s website (columbuscrewsc.com), will stream the game leg of the Hell Is Real derby against FC Cincinnati, won 3-1 by the Black & Gold, from last year beginning at 12 p.m. ET that was originally played on Aug. 25, 2019.

April 11 will see SportsTime Ohio will show the home match against the Montreal Impact, starting at 8:00 p.m. ET. This game was original played on July 20, 2019, and was won 2-1 by the Crew.

It’s important to remember that these matches, which will also be available on the FOX Sports Go app, are geo-fenced to the Crew’s territory due to MLS guidelines.

In addition to the re-airs, the Black & Gold’s digital programming will also include Home Workouts led by Kelly Roderick, the Crew’s assistant strength and conditioning coach. Other online features include The Breakdown, hosted by TV analyst Jodan Angeli, stay at home recipes from the team dietician Jay Short and a downloadable and printable Kid’s Corner Activity book.

Inside The Crew, the club’s weekly radio show, also continues to air every Tuesday on 97.1 The Fan at 8:00 p.m. ET.
