New to Massive Report this season, we’re asking fans to select the Columbus Crew SC starting lineup for each game of the season. This is not the lineup you expect to see on the field, but rather the lineup you would like to see deployed.

In the the Crew’s season opener, our Massive Report leaders selected all but one of head coach Caleb Porter’s starters. While 78.7 percent of supporters selected Luis Diaz to start on the wing, Porter went with Youness Mohktar as one of his wingers. Below is the 11 you chose against New York City FC, along with the percentage of respondents who selected each player:

On Sunday, you had the opportunity to see the club on the field. Does seeing Mohktar and Diaz both play change your mind on who should start? Did Chris Cadden or Fanendo Adi’s time on the pitch persuade you to give them a chance? You get the chance to pick the lineup for this week’s game against the Seattle Sounders. Keep in mind, Vito Wormgoor picked up a knock on Sunday and was not in practice as of Wednesday.
