New to Massive Report this season, we’re asking fans to select the Columbus Crew SC starting lineup for each game of the season. Select who you would like to start of the players available.
Last week, you chose the starting 11 outside of Aboubacar Keita, who started for the injured Vito Wormgoor at center back. Winger Luis Diaz lost six percent of the vote from Week 1 to 2. Head coach Caleb Porter gave Diaz the starting nod, which led to the Crew’s lone goal of the match, delivering a beautiful cross in to Gyasi Zardes.
Two names that saw a big spike in voting from Week 1 to 2 were Derrick Etienne Jr. and Chris Cadden. Etienne made an impact in his substitution appearance, losing a ball that led to a cross turned penalty call against Harrison Afful for a handball. Cadden made his return to the field after Milton Valenzuela’s unfortunate injury, leaving him out two weeks with a torn meniscus.

Fill out the form below and your choices, along with the Massive Report writer selection, will be shared before the Crew welcome Justin Meram and l Salt Lake, to MAPFRE Stadium on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET.
