Black & Gold look for the high only three points bring

MLS: Colorado Rapids at Columbus Crew SC Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Desperately seeking a win, the Columbus Crew head to suburban Denver. After breaking the five game losing streak, the Black & Gold have now lost two games in a row. They have slipped below the playoff line. Without three points, the playoff gap likely widens.

The Crew will get some reinforcements as Pedro Santos returned from compassionate leave. He’ll come back into the team after missing last week. He’ll help an ailing offense that once again has been shut out in back to back games.

The Colorado Rapids won their first game of the season last week against the LA Galaxy to move to five points on the year. Their start has cost their coach his job and has left the team six points out of second to last place in the conference.
