The dark days of the a Crewless offseason are over as are having to follow the team through Twitter feeds and stat sheets. Columbus will be playing in two tournaments with video coverage, he Pacific Rim Cup and Carolina Challenge Cup.
Columbus Crew SC headed to Hawaii this week for a quick stop for two games in the Pacific Rim Cup. The tournament will see the Black and Gold face off against Japanese side Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo at 1 a.m. ET Friday morning. They will then play against either the Vancouver Whitecaps or Iwaki FC, a lower league Japanese team, on Feb. 10. All the games will be streamed on PacificRimCup.com. BeIn Sports will be the broadcast platform as Crew SC heads to South Carolina for the Carolina Challenge Cup. This tournament will kick off with Columbus facing Atlanta United on Saturday, Feb. 17th at 5 p.m. ET. The Black & Gold then battle the hosting Battery at 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Feb. 21, before finishing against Minnesota United at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The five games are the remaining preparation for the 2018 season. The team opens on the road against the reigning MLS champions Toronto FC on Saturday, March 3 at 1 p.m. ET.
