Columbus Crew SC vs. Minnesota United: How to watch, streaming, live feed, schedule

The Black & Gold look get one final dress rehearsal in preparation for the MLS season

Zach Bland - Charleston Battery

The Major League Soccer season opener is just a week away, but there is business to attend to in Charleston, South Carolina. Columbus Crew SC have a date with Minnesota United in the final match of the 2018 Carolina Challenge Cup.

The Black & Gold have enjoyed success down south, earning a 3-1 victory against Atlanta United last Saturday and a 2-1 win over the Charleston Battery on Wednesday. Several of the Black & Gold’s new acquisitions like Milton Valenzuela and Gyasi Zardes continue to gain valuable minutes on the field as they work to build chemistry with their new teammates prior to the March 1 opener at Toronto FC.

After finding its footing in the second half of the season, Minnesota United look to start 2018 with positive momentum and have an enjoyable second season in MLS. The Loons fell to the Battery in the first match of the tournament and earned a tie against their expansion rivals Atlanta United.

Saturday’s match marks the first time Ethan Finlay faces off against his former side. The 27-year-old’s career has been rejuvenated with a change of scenery to the Twin Cities, but will Finlay spoil Crew SC’s hopes of defending the Carolina Challenge Cup?
