Following Saturday’s 1-1 draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps, Columbus Crew SC midfielders Kekuta Manneh and Wil Trapp take home Team of the Week honors.
Manneh experienced an emotional homecoming as he played at BC Place for the first time since being traded back on March 30th. The Gambian native made his presence known early with an assist on Ola Kamara’s 19th minute equalizer and he unleashed a beautiful strike to give Crew SC the lead in the 63rd minute.
Keep 'em coming, @kekuta16! @wil_trapp named to the bench as well. #CrewSC

Trapp was an anchor in the defensive midfield on Saturday night. He was often called upon to stop the pacy and prolific attack of the Whitecaps, a team that sits atop of the Western Conference standings.
Both stars will look to replicate their performances once again this weekend against the New York Red Bulls. Kick off is scheduled for 7:30pm at MAPFRE Stadium.
