The United State Men’s National Team is coming back to Ohio, but it’s not MAPFRE Stadium this time.

Cleveland is ready to host the U.S. for the team’s final Gold Cup group stage game against Nicaragua and the American Outlaws Cleveland chapter has worked to make soccer fans welcome.

AO Cleveland has a two-day celebration of American soccer ready for fans of the Red, White & Blue kicking off with a big party on Friday and then a tailgate and a march to the match on Saturday.

With the United States off to a slow start in the 2017 edition of the Gold Cup, the game against Nicaragua has more meaning than originally expected when the schedule was unveiled. Passage to the knockout stage is likely, but the U.S. would ensure topping Group B with big win on Saturday.

Friday - The night before, three-bar party

AO will be taking over the corners of Bridge Avenue and W. 25th Street in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland. Three bars and a restaurant will be featuring specials for fans who want to kick off the weekend celebrating with fellow supporters. Festivities kick off at 6 p.m.

Saturday - Tailgate & March to the Match

The Pit (1101 W 9th St.)

AO Cleveland will set up the tailgate in a lot within sight of FirstEnergy Stadium in the parking lot affectionately known as ‘The Pit’ starting at 2 p.m. There will be four hours of socializing and getting ready for the main event with the March to the Match starting at 6 p.m., leaving plenty of time to get to the stadium for the 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

If you’re headed to the game this weekend, this would be a great way to meet others clad in red, white and blue and a good time for all.
