Columbus Crew SC did a good job of keeping the 2017 kits a secret. While many Major League Soccer teams had their jerseys leak early, the Black & Gold kept their uniforms under wraps.
All that was known about the new jerseys was that the gold kit would once again be featured after a one-year hiatus in favor of the ‘For Columbus’ kits.
There has also been much speculation about the new sponsor, which is to be announced on Friday.
Things don’t work out as they’re supposed to and the 2017 Crew SC kit apparently leaked on Thursday night on SportsLogo.net along with the new sponsor.
The photos reference the Honda luxury brand Acura. Honda has a significant manufacturing presence in Central Ohio.
