In case you missed it, Columbus Crew SC upset Atlanta United in the knockout round of the MLS Cup playoffs on Thursday night.
The Black & Gold advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals on the back of goalkeeper Zack Steffen’s historic night and a valiant effort in the penalty kick shootout to overcome the heavily favored Atlanta side.
When the team returned home well into the night, the players and coaches were greeted by a group of fans at the airpot.

Given all that has gone on in the last week, it’s great to see the support for the team, despite owner Anthony Precourt looking to potentially move the club to Austin, TX.
Next up for Crew SC in the playoffs is New York City FC, who the Black & Gold will host on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
