Justin Meram named to the MLS Team of the Week

The winger is again recognized as one of the best in the league.

It’s been a career year for Columbus Crew SC’s Justin Meram.

The winger has 13 goals and seven assists in 2017 and has now scored in two straight matches for the Black & Gold.

On Saturday, Meram’s second half goal was a cherry on top of a 2-0 win over D.C. United that secured a MLS Cup playoff berth for Columbus.

For his play, Meram was rewarded on Monday when he was named to the MLS Team of the Week.

Meram and Crew SC have two games remaining in the regular season in order to improve the team’s seeding. The Black & Gold currently sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference and can climb as high as second if results go their way.
