The United States National Team dispatched Trinidad and Tobago in convincing fashion to win the Fourth Stage Qualifying group and attention quickly turned to the next round of qualifiers, The Hex.

The draw for the Fifth Round of CONCACAF Qualifying occurred in July. Mexico had already secured their group. The United States would open against their rivals n November if they won their group which they achieved tonight.

That left a little suspense on where the U.S. Soccer Federation would host the key qualifier against the biggest rival in the region. That suspense was quickly extinguished as it was confirmed there is only one home for USA v. Mexico.

This is the fifth time that the U.S. Men’s National Team hosted a qualifier against Mexico. The four previous times gave birth to, and cemented a legend. With four Dos a Cero’s in the books, the next chapter will be written on Friday, November 11th at MAPFRE Stadium.
