Matías Bustos Milla, a reporter from Clarin in Argentina tweeted that Columbus Crew SC are pursuing a friendly with Boca Juniors.
Columbus Crew, ex club de B. Schelotto, quiere jugar un amistoso con #Boca en USA. Si el club realiza la pretemporada allí, podría hacerse.

The deal sounds like it's predicated on Boca training in the United States in preseason.
There's the obvious, significant tie between the two teams. Guillermo Barros Schelotto is a Boca and Crew SC legend and now helms the Buenos Aires based club after he left Palermo of Serie A.
Schelotto is one of the most decorated players in Crew SC history, winning the 2008 MLS MVP award, the Supporters Shield in 2008 and 2009, and the 2008 MLS Cup. He's still viewed as one of the top players in team history and there was vocal disappointment when he was passed over for the vacant head coaching role in late 2014 when Gregg Berhalter was hired.
In a year with plenty of games to watch, including the Copa America Centenario, and a big name friendly at Ohio Stadium, the return of Guille would be a midseason friendly that would be of significant interest to long time fans and perhaps even the perfect time to bring him into the Crew SC Circle of Honor.
