CONCACAF announced the venues for the 2017 edition of the Gold Cup and Men’s international soccer is returning to Cleveland. FirstEnergy Field will host a doubleheader featuring the U.S. Men’s National Team on July 15th. It will be the final Group Stage games of Group B.
Cleveland has hosted several internationals in the past with the Men’s National Team playing a sendoff game in 2006 before the World Cup and a match against Belgium in 2013. This will be the first time the city has hosted a Gold Cup game.
The United States will also play in Nissan Stadium in Nashville on July 8th and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on July 12 before heading to Cleveland. The full draw has not been conducted, but Mexico was placed in Group C. They will play in San Diego on July 9th, Denver on July 13th, and San Antonio on July 16th.
The full draw and knockout game schedule will be announced in 2017.
