EA Sports has tapped into our rabid loyalties as soccer fans by customizing the cover its uber-successful FIFA video games, altering the video game's cover based on region/nation. In the case of the United States version of the game, the standard Lionel Messi cover is tweaked to have USWNT star Alex Morgan joining the Argentinian superstar to appeal to American's patriotism and cash in on the team's recent World Cup victory.
But what about those with deeper soccer loyalty? Just ahead of the game's release here in the U.S. on Wednesday, Major League Soccer is now catering to its own fans by releasing printable covers for both the league and each of its team. For Columbus Crew SC fans, this means the opportunity to slide in a Kei Kamara cover into the game case.
All the covers — one for MLS and one for each team — are available for free on the MLS Facebook page.

And now Black & Gold fans with a chip on their shoulder can commence with the questions about why some teams got two players, but Columbus only got one, leaving Ethan Finlay or even Federico Higuain or Wil Trapp by the wayside.
