USA vs. Panama: CONCACAF Gold Cup 2015 - How to Watch, Live Stream, Open Thread and More

Group A is clinched, but there's one match left to play. Here's all you need to know.

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

The United States Men's National Team continues to get results in the CONCAF Gold Cup despite not playing its best.

After a gritty 2-1 win that likely could have resulted in a draw in the opening match. the Red, White & Blue struggled again in match two.

Haiti made life difficult for the U.S., especially in the first half, not allowing the team much room to create offensely.

At halftime, USMNT head coach Jurgen Klinsmann elected to take off striker Jozy Altidore and bring in LA Galaxy forward, who plays on the wing for the U.S., Gyasi Zardes.

The attacker made an immediate impact, dribbling into the Haitian 18-yard box and finding Clint Dempsey for the finish just minutes after entering the match. Haiti continued to play, but the United State held on for the 1-0 victory and clinched qualification to the quarterfinals and the top spot in Group A.

In order to guarantee qualification to the next round, Panama need a win against the U.S. after allowing 1-0 leads to slip away in each of the team's first two matches. After two 1-1 draws, any result aside from a victory would take qualification out of Panama's hands.

History is not in favor of the Panamanians. The U.S. is 12-1-2 all-time against Panama, including defeating the nation 1-0 in the 2013 Gold Cup Final.

No matter the result, the USMNT will play Saturday against the third place finisher in Group B or C.
