The last time Columbus Crew SC was on the road, they came home with two points from two games across the country from each other. Since that point, the Black and Gold have been dominant, defeating Orlando City SC 3-0 and the Philadelphia Union 4-1 at MAPFRE Stadium.
Now they travel to take on D.C. United, who has only one loss on the season. The Black and Red have not lost since March 22, 2-0 to the New York Red Bulls, and are currently tied for the top spot in the Eastern Conference, three points above Columbus.
D.C. has dealt with several injuries this season, including goalkeeper Bill Hamid. After missing the last two matches, Hamid is expected to return from a thigh contusion for this match. United was boosted a week ago with the return of striker Fabian Espindola, who was suspended to start the MLS campaign. He helped the side to possibly its best win of the year, a 2-1 victory over a 10-man Vancouver Whitecaps.
Below is how to see how United and Crew SC handle this clash.
