Columbus Crew SC defeated London United 7-0. Kei Kamara and Hernan Grana lead the way with two goals a piece. The obviously overmatched London United provided little resistance as Crew SC rolled to six first half goals. The team added another in the second half to complete the walkover. United was a late addition to the tournament. It's a collection of unsigned players.
Without a feed or highlights and a weak opponent, it's tough to tease out how players performed, but there were a few things of note. Gregg Berhalter again mixed the lineups. The team played the standard 4-2-3-1 according to the @ColumbusCrewSC twitter feed, with mass substitutions at halftime.
Hector Jimenez now has appeared at center midfield, right midfield, and attacking midfield through three games. Ben Speas moved wide right after playing twice in the Higuain role over the weekend.
Grana continues to get a long runout at right back. Chris Klute looks to face an uphill battle to win the starting spot. He's been playing left back the last two games. Emanuel Pogatetz returned to the lineup after sitting out against Austin. He's expected to lock down the starting center back spot and missing a game raised a few eyebrows.
Sagi Lev-Ari made his first preseason appearance. Every player on the roster has now seen some playing time. Steve Clark and Kristinn Steindorsson were rested after playing the first two games. Romain Gall and Adam Bedell have only played once in the three games Crew SC has played. Ben Swanson has played one of the two he's been available.

Through three games, Grana leads all players with 147 minutes played. He got an extended runout today, likely due to his upcoming absence to attend to the birth of his child according to Adam Jardy.
