Time set for first leg of the Eastern Conference Final

Prepare to get loud.

Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

With the exhilarating 3-1 win over the Montreal Impact in the second leg of the semifinals, Columbus Crew SC moved on to the Conference Finals for the first time since 2008. They will face the top seed New York Red Bulls in the home-and-home two legged match. New York will come into MAPFRE at 5pm on November 22nd. Crew SC will host first as they are the second seed and don't get preferred second slot that home field advantage affords. New York will host Crew SC on November 29th at a time to be determined, the tail end of the long Thanksgiving weekend.

Crew SC was 1-2-0 against New York on the season. The Red Bulls defeated Crew SC 2-1 on March 28th at MAPFRE Stadium. After giving up an early goal to Anatole Abang, Columbus grabbed the 2-1 win on July 4th behind an Ethan Finlay brace. In the sole match at Red Bull Arena, New York returned the favor as they overcame an early Justin Meram goal to win 2-1 on October 3rd.
