With the 14th pick in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft, Columbus Crew SC select forward Sagi Lev-Ari. Lev-Ari comes from California State Univeristy, Northridge where he scored 11 goals in 19 games in 2014.
The 26-year old is a former infantry soldier in the Israeli Defense Force, as is mandatory for male Israeli citizens, and is a former NSCAA/Continental Tire First Team All-American and a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist in 2013.
Crew SC only has three true forwards on their roster heading into 2015 and Lev-Ari will look to add to the depth as he battles to make the team.
