Crew SC preseason plans include IMG tournament in Florida

The Crew SC preseason plans are rounding into shape. Columbus will already be heading to Austin in mid-Feburary, but Empire of Soccer reported that the team will play in a tournament hosted by IMG in Florida later in the month.

Crew SC will play fellow MLS teams Toronto FC, the Philadelphia Union and the New York Red Bulls. Danish side HB Koege and the Costa Rican U-21 team are also scheduled to play. The report notes that the tournament will stretch from the 18th to the 28th.

Columbus has been fairly quiet on preseason plans as camp is scheduled to open within the next two weeks, but with trips to Texas and Florida on tap they'll be playing somewhere warm for the second half of February.
