Midfielder Dan Paladini picked up a serious injury during a training game this morning that required transporting him to an area hospital head coach Gregg Berhalter confirmed today.
Just after 11:00 a.m., paramedics arrived at the Crew's Obetz training facility to stabilize and transport Paladini after he suffered the injury during a training game. There is no official word on the type of injury suffered, but a downbeat Berhalter confirmed that the injury was serious and will keep him out of the team for the foreseeable future.
Paladini arrived in a trade from Chicago this past offseason and has made four appearances, including three starts. He hasn't been a key cog of the 2014 team, but he has admirably filled when called upon, most recently on Sept. 7th against Chivas USA filling in for a suspended Tony Tchani.
