Kevan George was called up to the Trinidad & Tobago for the Knockout Phase of the Gold Cup. George is in his second year after being drafted in 2012 from University of Central Florida. The 23 year old George has played 8 games with 3 starts in 2013 with the Crew.

George has yet to be capped by the Trinidad & Tobago senior team, but he did play for the U-23 team that tried to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics last year. He will join the team in Atlanta as they face off against Mexico on Saturday. If they win, they will play the winner of the Panama/Cuba matchup on Wednesday with a chance to go to the final on Sunday, July 28th.

George will miss the Crew's matchup against New England this Saturday and possibly the team's trip to Toronto on July 27th while on international duty.
