The Playoff chase is heating up. The Crew stole a win last night in Philadelphia, but they don't have long to celebrate as they hit the field again on Saturday against Montreal. The current East playoff race is quite tight:

SportsClubStats.com massages the results and remaining schedule and sees the Crew's chances to make the playoffs at 62.1%. The game against Montreal is another big one. A win will push them up to 72.2% chance of making it. A loss drops them to 43.3%; a tie leaves then at 54.8%.
Looking ahead to the weekend, three games on the schedule have big playoff implications in the East. Saturday sees Montreal at the Crew of course. D.C. United, currently 4th, is in Salt Lake for a tough road game. On Sunday, 3rd Houston heads north to face 5th place Chicago.
A Crew win would see them leap past Montreal put them at least tied for a playoff spot. Saturday is a big game indeed.
