Stoke City FC announced their traveling roster today for the upcoming U.S. tour. It includes England international forward Peter Crouch, Honduran midfielder Wilson Palacios, Danish international Thomas Sorenson and Ireland (the team that bombed out of EURO 2012) internationals Glenn Whelan and Jonathan Walters. And If we are calling Crouch and England international, the roster also includes German international Robert Huth.

Stoke City is best known to the casual soccer fan for the long throws of Rory Delap and the only English Premier League team that held the ball an average of less than 40% during the 2011-12 season and averaged the least shots in the league to boot. The full roster follows:

Goalkeepers: Asmir Begovic, Thomas Sorensen, Carlo Nash

Defenders: Andy Wilkinson, Ryan Shotton, Robert Huth, Ryan Shawcross, Matthew Upson, Danny Higginbotham, Marc Wilson, Danny Collins

Midfielders: Jermaine Pennant, Glenn Whelan, Dean Whitehead, Rory Delap, Matthew Etherington, Wilson Palacios, Diego Arismendi, Michael Tonge, Jamie Ness

Strikers: Peter Crouch, Kenwyne Jones, Jonathan Walters, Cameron Jerome, Mamady Sidibe
