Higuain gets a brace through 61 minutes.
The Crew retook the lead as Federico Higuain and Jairo Arrieta combined to get an open look at goal. Before Higuain could pull the trigger, Terry Dunfield pulled him back from behind and Drew Fischer the Referee quickly called the spot kick.
Higuain would convert the resulting spot kick in the 61st minute to put the Crew up 2-1. It was the Argentine's second goal of the game and fifth of the year.
