The Crew lead would last 10 minutes as Toronto would get the equalizer in the 27th minute after another defensive slipup. Ryan Johnson fed Andrew Weideman who slipped past a falling Eric Gehrig to get one on one with Andy Gruenebaum. Weideman held off the late challenge from Josh Williams to beat a stranded Gruenebaum.
